Parenting through Anger ONLINE (AnnaB)-5 Monday evenings
5 September, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Have you ever felt angry and wished to know how to hold your anger and parent at the same time?
Have you ever seen your child get angry and struggled to support them with their emotions?
Or maybe you just want to explore how to live through anger and come out the other end without harm to yourself or your children (or the children in your care)?
If any of this sounds interesting, come join us for five evenings of exploring Anger in parenting.
We will:
– learn to recognize signals from our body before it’s too late;
– uncover what triggers us and explore how to manage those triggers and why they are there;
– experiment with understanding our own anger, and that of our children;
– learn to support our children through anger (and other emotions) in a productive way.
This workshop is based on the principles of Nonviolent Communication with insights from relational-developmental (Neufeld) approach. No previous experience with NVC is required.

Facilitator: Anna Strycharz-Banas, PhD, is a mother of three, wife, facilitator, educator, researcher. She has been supporting parents and teachers using NVC since 2017.
Here is what some course participants say: “Anna’s work and coaching has been so transformative for me, giving me new ways to learn about myself and my child’s behaviour, and empowering me to make such positive changes in our lives. I’ve still got plenty of work to do on this NVC path, but I feel like I have a clearer view of the needs I value most in our family and healthy ways to get them met. I have so much gratitude for Anna!”
