Kia ora koutou!
Have you chosen to become an active sharer of NVC? Wishing to Certify as a Trainer with CNVC – or find out about that? I would love to be part of shining light on the path(s)!
I have accepted the role of Candidate Coordinator for the Board. Why? I’m passionate about empowerment, growth and community, and living from NVC consciousness as we make life more wonderful.
On my own sharing and certification journey, I hugely appreciated
- observing and interacting with diverse Certified Trainers
- finding trainers to act as my mentors
- learning from other more experienced sharers through zoom calls
- creating a learning “pod” (as in pod of whales, or seeds in a pod) with other candidates to bring community and companionship into my assessment growth journey.
- having a trainer watch me train and provide feedback
If I might assist you by listening, sharing information, connecting you with another resource in our community of sharers and trainers, or something I haven’t thought of yet!
If you are already registered as a candidate for certification with the Center for Nonviolent Communication, or are considering certification and want to know more, I invite you to contact me.
If you’re a longer term sharer or trainer who would love to be a part of creating a community of support for candidates and sharers – I’m also happy to hear from you about what contribution or vision you have.
I especially like voice to voice contact, the immediacy of response and flexibility it provides, and so I share my phone number below.

For more about what’s involved in Certification with CNVC visit this website: https://www.cnvc.org/certification
Non-certified people can also share NVC – in fact this can be the start of their journey towards certification. For guidelines and requests on sharing NVC, visit this page:
https://www.cnvc.org/about/policies-and-guidelines/sharing-nvc-guidelines
Please Note: The procedures on the website to prepare for certification are described as a one-to-one relationship between candidate and assessor. They do not take into account flexible arrangements of candidates and assessors working in groups. The information can still be used as a guide for a flexible range of assessment procedures, leading to a consistent outcome of highly skilled CNVC Certified Trainers who can demonstrate that they know NVC, teach NVC, and are “living” NVC.
