When your kids push your buttons (online/Anna B)
6 March @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
“At the core of all anger s a need that is not being fulfilled” (Marshall B. Rosenberg)
If you struggle when:
- so many things feel frustrating – blocks on the floor, repeating the same thing over and over again, getting your kids to brush their teeth that takes forever, your teenager slamming the door in your face…
- you get annoyed at your kids and then feel guilty about how you reacted…
- you get angry and don’t know how to hold that anger and parent at the same time…
- you shout at your kids more than you would like…
Or if you simply would like to be able to parent with more joy, connection and ease…
Join Anna for this practical online course to explore how to parent through anger and get back to the place of joy and connection
You will be gently guided to:
- understand where anger comes from and how to navigate it at its roots
- learn to recognize signals from the body before it’s too late
- discover what triggers you and how to manage those triggers
- learn to support yourself through frustration in a productive way
- explore what unmet needs are hiding beneath your anger or irritation
- use Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to understand and express feelings
- notice which buttons your child pushes, and maybe even get rid of some of them
Expect to:
- take an active part
- share your own experiences
- play with ideas and strategies, in a group setting
- walk away with insights, tools and ideas to try at home
- feel recharged knowing we all struggle with anger, and it does not have to be that way
WHEN: 5 weekly sessions on Zoom, starting March 6th, at 7:30-9:00

Previous attendees say:
“Anna’s work and coaching has been so transformative for me, giving me new ways to learn about myself and my child’s behaviour, and empowering me to make such positive changes in our lives. I’ve still got plenty of work to do on this path, but I feel like I have a clearer view of the needs I value most in our family and healthy ways to get them met. I have so much gratitude for Anna!” (Sasha)
“Attending your workshop has been the biggest gift – it’s amazing how the tools you have given us shifted my frustration almost immediately.” (Fleur)
“It is incredible what this course offered me. I feel more connected to myself and what I need, and so I get annoyed much less than I used to. My kids are definiely benefitting from that!” (Amanda)
“It was such a relief to sit in a group of parents who are feeling similar things, going through similar struggles. And not feel judged, but get so much support and company. Coming back every week felt like going to meet old friends. I still go back to my nothes and memories regularly and have some bits from the course on my fridge.” (Lena)
