Venue: Appleby House, Mapua
Cost: $950-$1,100 (various accommodation options available)
This retreat is for women who are experiencing any stage of menopause.The focus is on supporting the body, mind, and spirit to find creative and caring ways to be with this new stage of life. Sharing with other women makes the journey less lonely. Themes covered will be nutrition, physical changes, health issues, role in life and identity, sexuality and intimacy, societal pressures, creating supportive networks. The weekend will include movement, yoga, food preparation, nonviolent communication (NVC), sharing circles, meditation, humour and a whole lot of fun!
