Kia ora community

I will be hosting a daylong “Intro to Somatic Ecotherapy” at the following locations

Dunedin (Waitati Ecotherapy Centre) 7th October 9.30am to 4pm

Wellington (Innermost Community Gardens) 12th October 9.30am to 4pm

New Plymouth 11th November (Patua Lodge) This Taranaki event is facilitated by Bren Whitmore from Weaving Soul

What’s Somatic Ecotherapy got to do with NVC?

Everything! Its a needs based approach to every decision, everything I track, follow and then invite, is informed by my NVC foundational framework. It creates a reference point of what’s important to the client in this moment, it supports openings and cues of when to bring the natural world into the client session, and it supports my capacity to follow where the client is in their process.

The somatic aspect of the work combined with NVC supports an embodiment of what’s being processed, a solid present centred mindful allowing of the deepest existence of our mind.

What to Expect: An overview of the foundations and origins of Ecotherapy and Mindful Somatic approaches to Ecotherapy, some simple exercises to experience the power of resourcing clients in nature, an overview of the framework of a “Ecotherapy Session and a demonstration of Somatic Ecotherapy Session with a participant.

If you are passionate about NVC, the embodying of it, and trust the power of nature then this taster is something you will want to experience!
