Jean in Wellington! Transforming Anger, Shame and Guilt.
26 October, 2019 @ 10:30 pm - 28 October, 2019 @ 6:00 am
Would you like to transform your usual responses when anger, shame, and guilt arise in you or others? Are you eager to breathe more freely again when the body tenses up in judgment? To find your way back to connection?
This workshop, facilitated by CNVC certified trainer Jean Mcelhaney, based on the principles and skills of
Nonviolent Communication, will offer insights and tools.
Instead of reacting, step forward in Freedom and Choice.
We will utilize discussion, guided meditation, written reflection, and
experiential exercises (e.g. NVC Dance Floors, Body NVC, and/or role-plays).
Spaces are limited, so please get in touch to book.
Jean Mcelhaney is a CNVC-certified NVC trainer, licensed professional counselor and clinical social worker (USA), ordained interfaith/interspiritual minister.
What other participants have said:
“Jean is a calm, considerate, non-judgmental and gentle figurehead and role model for small groups of people struggling with depths of emotion they are trying to deal with, understand, find meaning in, and seek ways of healing, for themselves and their relationships. It is an incredibly important and pivotal role to hold this space for people who have mostly come out of a sense of personal desperation – that something needs fixing that is broken deep within. I, for one, have a depth of trust in Jean, that we will be safe in each others’ presence, take risks with emotional experimentation, and tell the truth about our perceived weaknesses – to ourselves and each other.”
