We welcome parents, partners of parents, community members, grandparents, teachers to come learn, explore, practice in this experiential weekend.
We’ll use principles of Marshall Rosenberg’s nonviolent communication as we explore anger or other reactivity as a doorway to connection with others and with what matters deeply.
On Day one, we focus on our anger as the doorway, experimenting with roots of our own anger, other emotions connected with it and the difference between feeling anger and acting out of it. We will explore thoughts that fuel anger and how to access self-compassion from those moments.
On Day two, we add practices to support frustration or anger in children, as we enrich our NVC practices with insights from developmental-relational psychology and neuroscience.
We will focus on small doable steps and practices that you can take out of our weekend into your lives to create the shifts you want.
Request: $200 to $350 (choose the amount that’s meaningful that you can joyfully give)
